Good news! Renewal families can now apply for a scholarship for the 2018-2019 school year. Renewal families will have a processing priority until December 31, 2017.

Step Up For Students

Step Up for Students:
Step Up for Students FTC applications are now open for both new and renewal families for the 2017-2018 school year. The deadline to apply for the Step Up for Students scholarship is May 1st. They have already awarded 70,000 scholarships for next year, and expect to award 105,000, so apply ASAP.
Please be aware – they do give priority to lower-income families, but they have begun awarding scholarships to families with higher income levels, so go ahead and apply – all they can do is say no.
Gardiner Scholarship for Students with Disabilities (PLSA):
Applications are open for both new and renewal families for the 2017-18 school year. They anticipate funding at least 7,000 students next year with the hope of serving significantly more depending on the outcome of this year’s legislation. The deadline to apply and receive 100% of the award amount is August 1, 2017. For those currently on the scholarship, reimbursement turnaround is averaging five days.

Order forms for yearbook ads were sent home with students a couple of weeks ago, but we have had questions that let us know that they may NOT have made it into parents’ hands.
So, we are extending the deadline for purchasing ads until Monday, March 13th.
You can download the order form here. Please send it to the office with payment by Monday. You may either scan and email your photos to Ms. Drummond (email@example.com) or you may send them to the office in an envelope with your child’s name on it. We will scan them and get the originals back to you.
Please remember to turn in your photo orders. The due date is tomorrow, Friday, November 13th, but they will still be accepted Monday, November 16th.
Please remember to send in the order form, along with payment. Checks should be made payable to Tim Ludvigsen. We hope to have the pictures back in time for Thanksgiving.
