The primary election will take place tomorrow.  The Cathedral (across the street from the school) is a polling precinct.

We plan to keep our school parking lot closed.
Voters should enter the Ave Maria Parish Hall by parking on Moreno or Mallory Street.
School parents need to be patient and kind and be aware of extra traffic on 12th Avenue.  Also, there may be voters walking across the streets that border our school.
Faculty will be especially vigilant when our students are outside at recess.  Mrs. Snow and Mr. Kimbell will be outside when our students are playing.

Rest in Peace

For over thirty (30) years Pierrette has touched the lives of countless children at the school and church through her teaching in the classroom, teaching Religious Education classes, tutoring and coordinating First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.

Pierrette had a wonderful sense of humor and always greeted her friends with a warm hug.

The Sacred Heart community will miss her and we offer our condolences to her daughter, Danielle.  You will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Prayer Request

Please remember the Camposagrado family in your prayers.  Joey is in 5th grade. prayerrequest2

Joey was hit in the head with a ball during Monday’s track practice. While a complete accident, this incident resulted in Joey being admitted to Sacred Heart Hospital  where he  is currently in Pediatric  ICU.

We visited Joey and his family today and he seems to be doing well, although tired. His spirits are always positive as he is more concerned about others than himself.

As a family community, please remember Joey and his family in your prayers this week.  If all goes well, Joey may be able to leave the hospital this weekend.
