Friends,

On behalf of the PTO Board and the faculty of Sacred Heart Cathedral School, I would like to invite you to join us for a general PTO meeting on Wednesday, October 10th in the beautiful new outdoor dining area. Refreshments will begin at 5:30 PM with the meeting following at 6:00 PM.

We will discuss the upcoming PTO events and what your PTO does for you. Additionally, we are looking for ideas and feedback on ways to streamline communication with parents and how to better serve our SHCS families.

Your children are welcome to attend this meeting with you. All families in attendance will receive a crazy sock pass or a homework pass for each child. We will have SHCS spirit items (Tervis tumblers, hats, and visors) for sale at discounted prices also.

Keep an eye on our SHCS PTO Facebook page for a trivia question. The first parent to answer the question correctly will receive a prize, but you must be present at the PTO meeting to collect your winnings!

This year’s event will be held on Saturday, March 3rd in the Ave Maria Hall.

Please download the registration form, and return it with your payment to the school office as soon as possible.

Please note that there are a limited number of tables available; tables will only be confirmed upon receipt of payment.

Let’s Get Quizzical!

TriviaNightLogoOur annual Trivia Night Fundraiser will be held on March 3rd, 2018. Proceeds from this event benefit the students and faculty by providing support to capital projects that improve school buildings and grounds.  Last year more than $22,000 was raised.

  • Registration will open up on January 9, 2018 so be on the look out for e-mails containing detailed information.
  • Have or know a business that would like to sponsor the event? Please have them contact Sidney Poller at 850-637-6174 or Spoller@shcs.ptdiocese.org.
  • Room parents will be reaching out to families soon to help put together their classroom baskets, which will be raffled off at the event.
  • Do you want to volunteer but have not been contacted? Please message Alice Caldwell at Circdecaldwell@gmail.com. Volunteers are always needed and greatly appreciated!!

Pumpkin Bread Mix Sale

Pumpkin Mix makes baking your pumpkin bread easier and also makes a great gift.  PTO is proud to offer pre-made mix for purchase.  Please download the order form and turn it back into the front office no later than 10/25/2017.  Pumpkin Mix will be delivered home with your child on 10/30/2017.  Bread is due to the school on or before 11/03/2017

2 loaf mix $10

Double quantity mix is perfect for parents making pumpkin bread for the run or for a holiday party.  This mix is packaged in a Ziploc bag with cooking instructions affixed to the bag. 

Proceeds from fundraisers like this are what made it possible for PTO to furnish the students with updated seating in the new student dining area.
