On Monday, the faculty and staff gathered for our Lenten retreat.
We started with 8 a.m. Mass with Father James. Then, while we shared fellowship, we reflected on our faith life.
Presentations were given by Dave Kimbell, director of Catholic Immersion, Father Jacob Jaks and Mr. James Reding. Topics included identifying our spiritual gifts through an online survey, how we can grow in faith, foster vocations and renovate our faith lives.
After lunch, prayer and adoration we concluded our time together at 2 p.m. It was a restful and insightful day for everyone involved. We thank you for your support as we spent time bringing our spirituality to one another.
Standardized testing (TerraNova) begins for students in 2nd – 8th grade on Monday, February 24th and will continue through Tuesday, March 3rd.
There will be no school on Monday, March 2nd due to a Faculty Retreat.
We will administer 1 test per day beginning at 8:15 AM, so PLEASE have students to school on time. PTO is providing snacks to all students in grades 2-8. Please ensure your children get a good night’s sleep and healthy breakfast before arriving at school to help them perform their best.
On Thursday, February 20th, students may participate in a School Colors Out of Uniform Day in exchange for a $2 donation to our mission to send meals to Burkina Faso. We will be packing these meals on March 29th.
Students who make the $2 donation may dress out of uniform, but should be in school colors (red, white and black).
Our annual Trivia Night Fundraiser will be held on March 7, 2020. Proceeds from this event benefit the students and faculty by providing support to capital projects that improve school buildings and grounds, as well as other classroom needs. Last year more than $24,000 was raised.
