September is childhood cancer month

September is childhood cancer month and we recognize that by wearing yellow. 122299307-2

However, the color for childhood leukemia is orange.  In support of Madeleine Ritz, we are asking students to wear an orange shirt on Thursday with a $2 donation for the leukemia association.

If you do not have an orange shirt, please wear yellow in recognition of childhood cancer.

  • Students in grades 3-8 may wear jeans, not shorts, with their t-shirts.
  • Boys may wear shorts only if they wear their uniform shorts.
  • Students in pre-k-2nd grade may wear shorts with their t-shirts.
  • All students are required to wear uniform shoes.

Pep Rally

Parents,

Cheer

We will have a pep rally tomorrow to show appreciation for our football and volleyball players, as well as our cheerleaders.  We will sit as classes in the parking spaces along the playground.
Please join us at 2:00 pm.  We will begin the pep rally shortly after 2:00.  Coach Comerford will read the names of players on teams.
Students on sports teams may change into their uniforms after lunch.  We should be finished around 2:25 pm in time for dismissal.
