We want to congratulate some of our outstanding student athletes.
First, congratulations to Jaleah Watson. Jaleah, with her cheer team, Cheer Omega Betas, won a national championship in Atlanta, GA last weekend.
Also last weekend, several students from SHCS participated in the USA Volleyball Gulf Coast Region Championship. The students included Aubree Wartman, Amelia Omer, Ginny Myers, Auldyn Comish, Laura Trajano, Anna Gorton, Elizabeth Odee, Kristen Cassady, Regan Howard, Emily Kate Holliman and Beyonce White.
Elizabeth Odee, Regan Howard, Emily Kate Holliman and Beyonce White were all members of the team that won first place in the 14 and Under division.
Aubree Wartman was a member of the team that won second place in the 12 and Under division.
Congratulations to all of these students. We are proud of you and look forward to seeing more of your accomplishments in the future!
We would like all parents who may be interested in coaching or helping with any sports next year to attend this clinic. In addition, any SHS parents who may be interested in attending to better enrich their child’s athletic experience are also welcome.
The clinic is FREE, as the diocese will be paying the fee for our first 10 coaches/participants to sign up — and possibly more if there are other unused spots from other schools.
Play Like a Champion Today staff will conduct a coaching clinic on April 29, 2017, from 9 am – 12 pm at Pensacola Catholic High School.
