Thank you to everyone who participated in our first Spiritual Evening. The teacher’s made, shared and served their famous chili recipes. Mr. Hartwell reflected on the season and the evening ended with the making of a family Advent wreath. We really appreciate our families and look forward to continuing to meet during our liturgical year and to pray for our school and community. Please join us for prayer and community building after the December 11th 8 a.m. Mass. Michelle Benzinger and Molly Kane will be hosting the event in Ave Maria Hall. Please bring your Mass friends with you also…everyone is invited.
Friday, December 4th, we will celebrate St. Nicholas Day and Monday, December 7th, is our Advent Reconciliation beginning at 9 a.m. We will be attending 8 a.m. Mass on Tuesday, December 8th, for the feast day of the Immaculate Conception. Please join us Wednesday, December 9th at 5:45 p.m. for our elementary school Christmas celebration. Students in Prek-5th grade will be sharing their talents with us as we delight in an evening of Christmas songs.
Middle school exams will be the week of December 14th. A schedule is being sent to middle school parents with the specifics. We have noon dismissal on Friday, December 18. We will NOT have extended care.
Please pray for our Science Olympiad team as they travel to Orlando next weekend to compete in their first Invitational, competing against 10 teams. The students have worked hard, not only during their elective class and after school, but also on the weekends to prepare for their events. Thank you to the many teachers and volunteer coaches who have helped prepare these students for competition.
